macflowpath

Description: Back pressure robs your car of power and economy. Reduced back pressure will cause immediate gains in both power and economy. If you modify your engine, for every 8-10% in power increase you will gain 30% more back pressure, which virtually chokes the motor. So any modification at the engine makes a free flowing exhaust and muffler system mandatory! There are three basic factors in noise control: Restriction, Absorbtion, and Reflection. Reflection, which is the most effevtive for power increase, is done with baffles and reflector plates with nothing to burn out. MAC Flow Path mufflers use reflection for maximum flow while still maintaining noise control. Instead of a single flow path, MAC Flow Path mufflers use two flow paths for twice the flow and reflection area, while remaining a true anti-reversion muffler.

Pros: Awsome sound, they are loud and have a satanic sound.
Cons: None

I have the Mac Pro Dumps, they have a better sound than the popular Flowmaster 40s. They are mellow at idle, but when you stomp the gas sound awsome!

Pros: cheap, nice and throaty, gives the 4.6 more rumble
Cons: none

I had all types of exhaust from 1 and 2 chamber flowmasters, spintech pro-street, Bassani, and the MACs. Out of all the exhausts the MACs sound the best (definetly with a o/r h-pipe) They bring out the sound of my 4.6L with the Comp Cams in it. I highly recommend them.

Pros: Awesome sound, the stainless is great
Cons: none

I have a MAC O/R H and went from 50 series Flowmasters to these MAC Flowpaths. I bought them from a friend used for 6 months. They sound incredible. I will never buy a different muffler for a ford.

Pros: Sounds awsome on a 4.6 GT,has it's own unique tone.
Cons: I can't talk bad about these mufflers cause there bad ass.

I have a 2002 MustangGT putting these mufflers on my car was the best thing i ever did. I've had Dynomax before, but this muffler sounds way better than dynomax and flowmaster. All my friends love the way my car sounds, and they have flowmaster and dynomax. I suggest if your looking for a muffler, then you should pick this one.

Pros: Easy intall. Great sound, instant performance gain
Cons: In Car Sound can wear on you after a 3 hour highway cruise

After 180,000 miles on my 1994 Mustang Cobra, the OEM system was pretty shot. My friend at Mustang Magic on Long Island recommended MACS. They replaced the Cats with high flow units and installed the MAC cat backs. Unbelievable results! Car sounds fantastic and is noticeably quicker and more responsive to throttle inputs. Feels like the car was reborn. Highly recommend the high flow cat replacement as clogged cats can defeat the best of high flow mufflers.

Pros:
Cons:

i have mac shorties, mac o/r h pipe, and mac flowpaths dumped right before the axles. i had flowmaster 40's on it before these and i have to say the macs sound way better. they are fairly quiet while cruisin around but when you stomp it they sound awesome!! absolutely no drone at all either. i highly recommend these mufflers.
