balljointsmall

Description: Steeda's X2 Balljoint improves suspension geometry on lowered Mustangs by raising the spindle relative to the balljoint pivot-point. This raises the roll center back into the correct range for optimum handling, resulting in reduced body roll, quicker steering response and improved overall front tire grip. Steeda's special balljoint reduces the need for oversize front swaybars and allows the use of lower front spring rates, creating more grip over uneven pavement and better ride quality.

Pros: Compliments Steeda's bump steer kit perfectly
Cons: Had to get a loner tool from autozone to pull the old ones out, it was not impossible, but didn't go easily

I went with these because my driver's side ball joint went bad. I decided to install the Steeda bump steer kit at the same time the X2 ball joints went on. They are a great combo in gaining complete turn radius and improving response when cornering. Definately recommended for lowered rides.

Pros: Quality, improved handling
Cons: None.

I had these installed when my shocks, struts, springs, caster/camber plates, and bumpsteer kit were installed. The installer said it was quite a chore getting all this changed out, but he was very impressed by the quality of this part and how well it offset the effect of the lowering springs. Given how much better my car handles now, I can definitely recommend this product to anyone planning to lower their Mustang. (BTW, mine is an '02 GT.)

I will get the bumpsteer kit soon to go with it though.

Pros: i get better feedback from the steering wheel, doesn't seem sloppy anymore.
Cons: instructions say i have to take the dust shields off.

the first ones i got one of them wasn't tapped for the grease fitting so i had to send it back and wait for the new one. if you ware going to use these save yourself the hassle and put the springs, balljoints , and bumpsteer on all at once. also if you plan on putting in new shocks do it while you have it all taken apart anyway.
also if you haven't used a balljoint press before just think about what you are trying to do and it will be easy
